Seasons Change

Cool breeze that blows across the trees
Leaves full of color rustle as they bustle
Slowly yet gracefully, fall to the ground duly
For a moment it is Fall, a moment that is all
Winter is on it's way - then indoors I will stay
The snow will fall and lack of color shall sprawl
The cold will chill my bones as well as my home
The days will be short- my fun it will certainly thwart
I won't look ahead I'll live today instead
In a world of color right here in my holler
I'll embrace today and not worry 'bout my sleigh
Don't fret about tomorrow it will bring its own sorrow
Enjoy what you've got and be happy as you aught
